Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, known as 2face, has called on the Nigerian government to intervene in the Benue state’s crisis.
During his performance at the Soundcity MVP Awards on Friday, the Benue-born singer took the time to respond to the murders.
No fewer than 73 people were killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen in an outbreak of fighting between the invaders and native farmers in Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State.
The Benue state government have declared curfew in the state’s capital, Makurdi.
President Buhari has also ordered the Inspector General of police, Ibrahim Idris to moblize to the state.
