12 Nigerian Artistes who have had issues with their Record Label – #2 & #4 would have ended their careers if they didn’t leave (Photos)

Nigerian artists who had problems with their label: We’ve seen the script many times. Record Label meets the artist, decides to invest, writes a contract, presents the artist. Artist who is probably very excited to quickly sign an agreement without consulting a competent lawyer. A few years later, the artist grows and no longer respects the terms of the contract – which favors more etiquette. Sometimes they ask for renegotiation, sometimes the labels agree and everyone is happy. Sometimes it does not stop that way. Sometimes labels insist that they spend a lot of money on artists and earn every penny they receive. Then the thing skrrrr goes. Then there is a pa pa pa beef. Then there are legal steps. Then there are physical and mental struggles …

Yes, we have seen this script before. And it starts again. So, starting with our favorite boy – Kiss Daniel, see 12 acts who have walked this street with their Record Label before.

1 Kiss Daniel vs G-Worldwide

Kiss Daniel is undoubtedly one of the best acts in Nigeria. He lets us dance since he left Woju in 2014 and he has a lot of goodwill in the industry. Everyone thought they he gone beyond G-Worldwide and we think he thought so, because some months ago he announced that he had founded his own brand – Flyboy Inc. Following the news that G-Worldwide sued him. Obviously, he had signed a seven-year contract with them in 2013 and should stay with them by 2020. According to the circulating letter, a Federal Court judge has signed a restraining order to prevent him from performing to make music business. until the court sits. Damn, he can not even use the name Kiss Daniel. Sigh.

Anyway, Kiss Daniel responded with his own suit and promised it would be a nice win for him.
