11 May D vs Square Records

While other acts on this list wanted to end their contracts with their labels, Square Records were, in a sense, the ones who fired their artist May D in 2012. Jude Okoye, the director of the label, made this announcement incompatible differences as a reason for the “dismissal.” It was said that the label had given up on the month of May because it was not as profitable as they thought. But it had to go beyond that, as they took a step further to remove his music from YouTube – arousing the outrage of May-D fans who thought they were mean. On the other hand, May D said that he had not been warned beforehand and that he had seen the news of his release online. He has fought since then, and now little is known about the fate of early promising talents. Square Records remained relevant to PSquare – but the duo collapsed – story for another day.
