3 Brymo vs Chocolate City

Whichever side you are on, Brymo beef with Chocolate City were caused by two things or both. After Brymo, released  son of a carpenter – his first album – The label failed to promote the music . He accused them of chasing him and not fulfilling their part of the contract. The label, on the other hand, said that they had quarreled with Brymo because he was stubborn, he was passionate about promoting Indian hemp on his social media accounts and he lost a deal worth N20million approval with a telecommunications company.

Anyway, Brymo left the tag on Twitter and Audu Maikori, founder and CEO of Chocolate City. Provoked, the label continued the artist, claiming he had violated a five-year contract that required him to release three albums between 2011 and 2016. They received a restraining order to prevent him from leaving the label, thereby preventing any of his Shooting for a long time, Brymo can not get supplies or make money. A judge lifted the injunction in 2014, and he started to go out of music again. But until then, much damage had been done to his brand and finances. And it was not over. The case dragged him down, and in 2016, the year when his contract went through to the end, the label said it had invested 20 million naira, and got less than 3 million naira and wanted N100million from Brymo in damages.
