2 Wizkid vs EME

Before the rise of  Starboy, Wizkid was under Banky W’s EME records. He left them because of the unfavorable sharing formula – – where he got 25% of what he had worked for. It was at a time when Wizkid was the backbone of the label and one of the country’s biggest acts. He asked for a contract revision, but an agreement was not reached and he left. This later led to an online launch where Banky W said he would be replaced by a better artist. In response, Wizkid said, “I can never be replaced, you mistook my loyalty for stupidity so don’t get mad that I’ve decided to move on with my life.”

Since then, they have made their beef and there is (at least in public) mutual respect between them.
